Served 2 tours incountry,1st tour with 538th Transportation company,1966-1967.We left Ft Bragg NC,went to Calif, boarded the USS Breckinridge. When we got to RVN we stayed at Ton Su Nhut Air base a few days then went to TC hill at Long Bihn. As truck mechanics we were sent to the TTP there for a few days, then we were sent out to build our own compound, and attached to 64thQm Bn.Our company hauled fuel.We were called PETRO-MAIN.
