I am looking for anyone who may remember my Dad, Fred Monroe Ayers. He did a tour in April 70 to June of 71. He has blocked out a lot of memories and is now finally trying to recover and come home!! What I do know is that he flew in to Cuchi (near Ho Chin Minh City) and went North toward Cambodia or Laos. He was injured in a tank explosion and was taken to Danang. When he recovered he was 2nd Security MP.
My Dads memories of what happened are detailed, but he can not remember dates and names. He feels like he is the only one that can not remember names of the men he fought beside. PLEASE help him remember. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has information on a young man nicknamed "Toad" serving about the same time, please email with any info, pictures or suggestions on how I can be of support to my Dad. God Bless all of our Service men and women and Thank you!
