flew A1s with 602nd Air Commando Sq. 1967, Search and Rescue escort for Jolly Greens and strike FAC on the Ho Chi Mihn trail, mostly Laos but also part of most missions in N. Vietnam, had 100 missions up N. , 183 total. Flew from Udorn and Nakhom Phanom Thailand and Da Nang. Saw no atrocities but a lot of day to day courage, and am proud of what we tried to do for S. Vietnam, ashamed we lost our will.
