looking for any one that was at fort polk feb.1969 cook school where we all had spinal menigitis. mow i have arthritis from my lower back to my head. and for brothers that was at phouc vin in 69--70 first cav div of artelery. where our rifles ammo and gernades was taken away. later in my tour it was almost time to go home. the enemy tried to break thrue the wire .so the compamy co. picked a few of us ,gave us a rifle and ammo tuck us to where they were coming thure ,they put us out of the teuck to meet the enemie it was flat ground nothing to get behind except blocks of wood 10 inches high. and today when it. comes to me which is pretty often what i see is the ground beeing red with gray blocks of wood for cover. If anyone could call it would help me. and maybe i could help you.
