Served in Viet Nam 1967 -1968 Marines-Rank-CPL, 3rd Marines-3rd Bat. Charlie Co.Was Security for MP`s Da Nang Air Base, Station there for 10 months-was under constant mortar and rocket attacks. Many enemy ground ashaults on the south end of the airbase. Was sent to Red Beach for my last 3 months. Was on night patrols
most of the time. Had many close calls...used up my nine lives pretty fast and then some.

I was in Cam Rahn Bay in 1966-1967 with the 165th transportation co. It was very hot, dangerous. I was in the maint. platoon keptem runnin . There were 13 mechanics for the larcv and wheeled vehicles. Everyone in the company pulled togeather and most of the time won the most tonnage moved compliment. Glad I was with the best .

I was in the unit with Robert Perralgallo, Raymond Mauer, Buckner, Triano, JT White, we fought on the May 12th bloodiest day. I was injured twice, received 2 purple hearts, would love to hear from other Vets, and know how you are doing.

vietnam feb. 1968 with 1st. tank batt. h&sco. 1st.marine div. da nang mail clerk, also 1st.batt.27th. marines ontos plt. kanoea bay, hawaii, 1967 to1968 blt. landing team 1/27 to viet nam. like to hear from any marine who searve with me, ggy.sgt.young,sgt.woods,sgt.kennedy,cpl.ryan,pvt. beanie, cpl.ash, any marine who searve with.also looking for j. rogers we searve together at camp giger,we travel together by train from jacksonville fla. to san frisaco,ca.1967. j.rogers lived in the state of florida.

Proudly served two-full tours in RVN. 05/66 to 06/67, HHC, 11th Trans Bn. (Med. Boat), Cat lai, RVN. 06/68 to 06/69, HHC, 3rd Bn, 8th Inf, 4th ID, Camp Enari and elsewhere, Plieku, RVN. May God continue to bless all of us who survived, and may those who did not be at eternal peace at the side of their lord. "Welcome Home" comrades.

Thank You for the great website it is very much appreciated to all that served.I was there from april 68-march69 in the Phu Tai Valley and was trying to gather information on which TET I encountered while I was there.I served with CO.D 459th Signal BN.

Was stationed in Nam 69-70. Spent one month up on Lang Bien mountain before going down to Kraus compound in Dalat. I worked in the ELM shop as a radio repairman. Was with Co E 43rd Sig. Bn. Anyone that was there 69-70 drop me a E-Mail. Sure would like to here from some of the guys.
