I was with the 178th Maint. Co. from Aug67-Aug68. Stationed in An Khe and wound up at Camp Evans. Would love to hear from anyone there with me. Also I am trying to find any information of a friend KIA. His name was Robert Santoro. He was a medic. We were not stationed together. His parents moved from NY to Canada to keep him out of the army. He hated it so much he joined up. He was killed in Aug68 right after I came home.

I just found this site and want to thank the people running it. Because of it I have been able to find a couple of men from my unit.
This may be old news to many of you but I will pass it on anyway. the Americal Division Veterans Assoc. has a web site with links to many of the units assigned to it, both Nam and WWII. (www.americal.org). Those of you with 4/3rd 11th LIB, you can go to buffgrunt.com. This site is set up with plenty of pic from all the companies and has the s2/s3 reports from 67-71.
Again thank you for this site. Gentlemen may you all find who and what you are looking for!

This may be a strange request, but my cousin is really trying to deal. I recently retired from the Air Force after 23 years of active service. I'm trying to find information related to my uncle Pvt 1st Class Chester "Chet" Aaron Neville. He served in the Army (unknown battalion or company) at Ban Me Thuot from 1964-1965. He was a helicopter mechanic. He left his wife and children because I believe he was a changed man after Vietnam. My cousin however, his son has never been able to forgive him. If you have any information related to Chet Neville I would appreciate it.
Thank you from a brother in arms.
