I am looking for anyone who served with my uncle, Walter Burns. He was an officer in the Army, however, I don't know what his rank was when he was in Vietnam. I know that he was assigned to the Pentagon when he passed away which I believe was in the early 70's. Thank you.

My name is Stanley Smith. I was in Vietnam in the Army from August 1967 to August 1968. I was with the 541st Transportation Company. I was in Ankhe and was on Tower duty on Tower 34. Sp/5 Romon and Pfc Palo were on tower duty with me in October 1967, and they might be able to verify my injuries of a broken arm occured during a fire fight with the VC coming thru the perimeter. Please let me know if you can help me. Or if you need my help.

I want to thank all of the Vietnam Veterans who fought, sacrificied and died, and those that came home to unwelcome treatement, apologize for the hurt and pain you have gone through. I was drafted for Vietnam when I was 19 but didn't have to go, by that time, the war was winding down. But I thank you for your dedication, service and sacrifice. May God bless you.

To All who served this country and sacraficed so much. Thank you for what you did. God bless you and your families. God will have a place for all of those that did not make it and to those who did and saw so much. There are not enough parades, floats, fireworks,to erase the things you saw and had to do. I have lost a friend who served in Vietnam today. He was a good friend. But he was a great dad and a loving husband. I know his wife and girls are hurting so much. This man had a dog in nam that saved his life many times. He never stopped thinking about his dog. It realy bothered him to have to leave his dog there. He felt like he had abandoned his friend. He had dreams and nightmares about his dog. May God put the two of them together again. God Bless you Tim. This man is Tim Max Jones. See you some day I hope. Your old friend and neighbor Vickie E. P.S. God Bless You All, and God Bless America

I been going through this to fine my two other statements, cant fine them. I was in Vietnam 4 November, 1970 through 1971. I was in QuiNhon and the battalion moved up to DaNang. I was sporting the battalion by going to the Depot getting things they need. Have done a lot of driving, and was hoping every day that I won't drive over a mine, but it never happan. Vietnam is a pretty country. If I had the money I wouldn't mine to go back to see thr places I been at.
