First of all I want to thank all those fighting and have fought for our freedom. God bless those families who have lost loved ones who to war.
My dad (Donald Eugene Dugger) is looking for anyone that was stationed at Camp Tien Shau from 1967-1969. He's also looking for anyone that knows about or can find info about a tape a few navy guys made including my dad (at Camp Tien Shau). The tape made it's way back to New York. The mayor of New York had his picture taken listening to the tape (the song "God Bless America) and it was printed in the newspaper. Can anyone help us find anybody that had anything to do with that OR anybody stationed at Camp Tien Shau during those years?

Please help. I am trying to locate anyone at Long Binh in 1972 who might have seen a very strange looking aerial object that flew low and slow and gave off heat-waves. I know there are at least three of you out there. Am writing a history. All names will be kept confidential of necessary. Respond to: [email protected]
Thank you,

My Name is Thomas Laroe. I was formally in the Air Force and sent to Vietnam in May of 1965. My Outfits first assignment was suppose to be Plie-Ku but that airfield was mortored in February of 65. We were then split up at Saigon and half of us went to Bien Hoa and the rest of us went to NhaTrang. I was with the group sent to Nha Trang to work on the O-1E aircraft. But our planes haven't arrived in Vietnam as of yet so I was put on what we nick named THE PENAGON GREYBIRDS. They were secrative C-123 aircraft with no markings or tail numbers. They were flown by Chinese Nationalist and run by the CIA. The reason for the nickname was because the parts for these planes came only from a stock pile from the pentagon. all numbers on these parts were removed. I worked on these planes for three months then our O-1Es came in and I was sent to Danang AB. from there I was shipped up to Hue Airfield (at the Citadel). I also spent time up at Dong Ha only 8 miles from the DMZ. There I was almost forgotten and left there as all the other guys that came with me and were out in the field had been shipped back to Nha Trang waiting to take the trip home. Finally I was found out and sent to Nha Trang just in time to catch the flight to Saigon to catch World Airways flight to the mainland. if anyone was there at that time and remember some of the things I have said my E-Mail address is [email protected] reach out and E-mail me.
