I am trying to find some info on my cousin who served in Nam 67-68. I am trying to find any one that knew him or someone who can maybe tell me the battalion, division, unit, etc (I dont know how the Army assigned people into division, then batallion, company, unit, etc.) All I know was that he told he was a Tactical Combat Engineer, and was a tunnel rat. I think he said it was the 162nd (?) Tactical Combat Enginners. I know he was at Lai Khe 67-68. His name was John Pugh, he was very out-going and I don't think you would forget him if you knew him. I am trying to get his after action reports and have been trying to figure out what the hell happened over there for over twenty years... I feel that I owe it to his children and the rest of our family, please, you can be of some help, we would really appreciate it... anything would help.
Again
John Pugh

My time at the weapons station was as a Lance Corporal on guard duty from mid 1970 to 1971, living at the Marine Barracks. The few people I remember was Cpl. Tom Upson, a guy called "Moquin" and I dated the pretty girl that worked in the Barracks PX store called Denise Michelle Norman.
In 1971 I received orders to "West Pack", Okinawa, Japan as a Combat Photographer. The last three months of my 3 year service was as a CPL, with the 3rd Recon Battallion on the USS Tripoli LPH 10, Part of the Second Battalion 4th Marines. "Semper Fi "...
