I was aboard the USS Terrell County LST 1157 January 1967-January 1968; USS Constellation CVA 64 January 1968-January 1969. I Served in the Fire Department, city of Da Nang 1969-1970. After we turnded the station over to ARVN, I spent 6 months on River Security Cam Ranh Bay with Naval Advisor Group 1, Those experiences brought me the highest high and the lowest low. We Saved lives and Took lives, We never knew what the next day would bring, We never knew what was Next. Would love to hear from anyone associated with Bingo 3 or Deranger. For all who understand, I too still see vivid images of the Dead and Wounded, Men, Women, Kids & Babies. The Kids with nothing, playing, laughing, just being Kids.
The war in Iraq and Afganistan brought back memories and pictures I assumed were long ago put to rest. Like most of you, I respect those memories, those flash backs, the thoughts that are stimulated, I served with the Best, I served with my Brothers and Sisters, I served with You. Thank you for getting my back, Thank You for being by my side, Thank You for Being there with Me. Thank You.
Ron Lambertson January 1967-August 1970.

I was in Vietnam the whole year of 1969 I was in Phu Bai with the 596th Maintenance Company from Jan-April and May thru June I was in Chu Lai, Vietnam with the 596th Maintenance Co. Then I was temp. transferred to Quang Tri, Vietnam to put electric lights around the compound and I was electrically shocked putting up a light by the shower there.
I have filed a PTSD claim and would appreciate any help I could get to confirm battles I was in at Phu Bai, Chu Lai, and body bagging in Quan Tri in 1969.
