I was stationed with the 538th Transportation Company at Long Bihn in 71/72 at Tanker Valley, otherwise known as VC Valley. Our unit had two nicknames, Heavy Stickers and Crispy Critters. My friends were David Berry of Dallas/Fort Worth area, Wayne Nuchols, Tim Bottoms, Howie and they guys who roomed in the HQ Hooch next to the Company office. Our unit hauled jet fuel, diesel, AV Gas and Mogas (thus the nickname Crispy Critters.) I'd like to look up some of my old friends if anybody can help me connect.
I took advantage of the GI Bill and got my BA Degree. Spent 30 years in television, public relations, got my pilot's license and married when I was 31. Stiil crazy about my one and only wife. I live on a farm in Central Texas. Life has been very good.

I am looking for anyone that was in Dinh Tuong on April 29, 1968. My uncle was Willard Alton Perry from Brownwood TX, he was US Army in Bravo Co. 2nd Bn. 60th infantry in the 9th infantry division. He was KIA there. I just found out he was my uncle and wanted to find someone who could tell me something about him if they knew him during his service. I am very proud of the sacrifices he and his fellow soldiers have made. I am 33 and I was never able to have met him. Thanks...
