This is for my father: served in Company A of the 1st Cavalry Division's 15th Transportation Battalion. He received the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service and was promoted to Staff Sergeant at An Khe, VietNam on Oct. 29th, 1966 for working on and creating two fully equipped hospital operating rooms within the 'pod' of a CH-54 or Flying Crane. If anyone remembers him, or has more information I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello all of you wonderful veterans. My husband is an Iraqi Veteran. He is also an amerasian born in Qui Nhon, Vietnam in December 1968. His mothers name is Nguyen Thi Ngoc Yen. We all just call her Yen. I am helping my husband search for his father. We don't know much about him. All we know is that his name is Brian. He has red hair. He is very tall, possibly 6'3. He might be from PA. I am pretty sure this man would have been in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. My mother in law is reluctant to give us anymore information. I know there is very little to go on here, and it may not even be correct, but if there is anyone who could help us, it would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Nancy

To Pete W. Smith (aka Smitty): I was stationed on Pr'Line Mountain the same time you were (actually I spent 17 months on that mountain, so I watched you come and go probably). I remember a wire guy named Smitty who was tall, blonde and lanky. Is that you? I was in the Seucrity Platoon and drove one of the Armored Personnel Carriers. I wore a headband and beads as part of my uniform. Contact me. I'd love to talk! I'm going back to Vietnam this January! Sincerely Yours, (sergeant)Jeff Drake
