Hi . I arrived at the 160th HEM co. in the Cha Rang Valley in Jan. 1968.I was sent to Nam as a replacement from the Engineer School at Fort Belvoir,Va. where I taught Basic Principles of internal combustion engines.I was sent to the 160th ,and shortly after getting there,I was assigned to the 86th Maint. Bat. as part of the Bat Electrical crew.WE lived in a little building there and called ourselves the lamp lighters.I helped build the swimming pool, and helped install telephone poles, and helped wire the big metal bldg.maint.shop.Then I was assigned to maintain the Bat. Generators that produced the electric power for the Bat. I extended my tour 3 months to get a 150 day early out.And went back home in May 1969.I would love to hear from others that were there during 1968.In 1970.I was employed by IBM Corp.I worked as a field service rep for 40 years and am now retired.

Served with the 616 Medical Clearing Company, Phu Bai, Vietnam10/68-10/69. Dr. Guy Randazzo was the Commanding Officer. Would like to hear from someone in the unit. I remember Jeffery Sioux was the pharmacy tech and there were a couple of reservist from Winston- Salem N. C. We were located directly across from the Phu Bai airport. I remember a lot of rocket attacks during that time. I have returned numerous times to Phu Bai and walked on the same grounds where the company was located.
