I served in the US Navy Seabees in Vietnam and my friend Bill Sellman (Ohio) and I spent an afternoon in 1970 touring Marble Mountain including inside one of them. It was like an old temple of sorts and a couple of the local boys volunteered to be our guides. Was a pretty cool experience, especially considering all the "war stories" about how the spires were supposedly VC controled. CAN DO! Dave Schill, President CBMU-302 Assn. I am the mother of Spc 4 Paul Leslie Clark who was killed Sept 6,1967 near Anhke, Vietnam when his helicopter was hit by enemy fire and crashed, exploded and burned. Paul was crew chief. He and the pilot, Capt Winston Robinson were killed but the co-pilot, WO Gregory A Grant survived. They were from the C btry, 2/20 1st Cav ARA. I have gone all 101 pages of this site looking for someone from this unit but didn't find a one. I was hoping to find someone who remembered Paul when was in Vietnam March, 1967 to Sept. 6,1967 when he was killed. A Gold Star Mother,Eola Clark

Just for the sake of trying?
I?m attempting to track down some old friends from my tour of duty with the Air Force in Thailand. June 1972 thru June 1973
My base of operations there was U-Tapao, 635 Combat Supply, Base Fuels, but these friends hailed from all the bases. Udorn, Ubon, NKP, etc?
We kept in contact briefly, but have drifted apart over the years.
The spelling of names may be slightly off (the ink faded), but if anyone knows of these friends, their location, points of contact?
Let them know an old friend has been thinking about them and would like to say ?Hi?. (Lots of photos, lots of memories?)
[email protected]
Names are: Allen Rogers, Ed Rienwand, Bill Allen, Pete Christopher, Norman Thomas, Don (or Tom) McIntosh, Roger Knor, John Gavel, John Briggs, Randy Wellington, Gary Burns, Gary Owens, Henry Diswell, Denis Magman, Ray Baruth.
