Just wanted to thank you all for your service. I was born in 1976, my father returned from Vietnam in 1969. I think about his time their always. I feel guilt, I was 18 years old on some beach getting drunk, he was putting himself in harms way daily when he was 18. I know because of those who have served I am free. I pray your lives are filled with peace and joy for you and your family. Thank you again, I will never forget. My son or daughter will know of you. As will their children. We have a few pictures, and my dad speaks more about the war to me than ever before. I am sure as he gets older we will sit down and document his experience for our family to cherish and appreciate. Thank you again, God Bless you, GodD Bless our trops fighting in the Global War on Terror, and God Bless America

I served in the US Navy Seabees in Vietnam and my friend Bill Sellman (Ohio) and I spent an afternoon in 1970 touring Marble Mountain including inside one of them. It was like an old temple of sorts and a couple of the local boys volunteered to be our guides. Was a pretty cool experience, especially considering all the "war stories" about how the spires were supposedly VC controled. CAN DO! Dave Schill, President CBMU-302 Assn.
