I was a Lt (OCS) with the 326th Eng. of the 101st Div, in country from Nov '67 to May '69. Is there any way to send attachments to the site? I've got a couple things. I went thru OCS and Jump School with George W. Bush's cousin, who was up near Quang Tri.

Wonderful site and great work you're doing. I returned from my second trip to Vietnam in May this year, when I met Paul Murphy and Janene Steward in Vung Tau, who work in country with the Australian Veterans Vietnam Reconstruction Group, which seems similar in its aims to Vets with a Mission.
I am a 57yo Australian woman researching, collecting and editing life stories from womenfolk associated with Australia's Vietnam Veterans - long term project. For comparison, i would like to include a couple of life stories about women (wives, partners, sisters, daughters, mothers) associated with American and/or Canadian Vietnam Veterans. Please email me if you're interested or with any other comments re my project.

I am the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran and doing a report on my father's experience. He was in the Army and a part of the Big Red One Co. D 1st Battalion 2nd Infantry 1st Infantry Division and stationed in Quan Loi during the spring of 1969. His life style then and his life style now have not changed much and uses alcohol daily to try and forget the past. This website is wonderful. Thank you.

i am so glad to see this site and read this guestbook, words cannot express the thanks i give to all vets, especially the ones who served in vietnam.you should have been treated with the utmost respect you deserved upon coming home and i am ashamed that you did not.my dad served in vietnam,marines-he would never talk about it and it eventually killed him in 1997 at the age of 47,he drank and drugged to numb the pain and i wish i could have helped him more.if anyone remebers him william g. conley[billy],boston,ma i would love to talk god bless and try to live for today-you deserve it-you have earned it-dont give up

I would like to say thank you to the individuals who set the world straight on what happened, I am 37 years old and my fiance 54 the differences of opinions that we share is from a generation gap, he, a hippie of free love etc. me , I'm teaching my child to learn history correct, that each and every person is a hero, yes certain things did go on, but for the most part everyone was and is a hero, thank you gentlemen for my freedom!!! Nothing i could ever say is enough. May god reward you on earth and in heaven, with admiration to your duties of war, and my deepest sympathies for what you had to do, that may not have been your choice, again, thank you my heros.
