I wasnt in country,and not a student using site for reference.I cannot pretend to know the depths of the feelings from serving in Vietnam.I do know some vets,and have alot of respect for you all,what you went thro and are still going thro.My heart felt thanks to you all,and my deepest respect.My son is going thro requirements for special forces and i am as proud of him as i am of everyone who has stood up for what they believe in.Anne Maree.

I'm looking for anybody who was at Chu Lai 70-71.I'mlooking for a few of my buddy's. (Robert (bob ) Montoya,from Phoenix,Arizona, another buddy named crasho,don't know his real name, didn't ask for names back then, I sure wish I did,but if any one know of these guy PLEASE let them know I think about ever day .At this time of my life it is VERY important that I know anything about then.

11/B/10 everyone went to Cambodia except me, I persueded a MOS change. I changed company policy for 666 Trans, Camp Evans in 69, got that transfer to Tami Island (Coco beach).1st security company, F U Bullock. Hinzts my brother where are you? I know history, only a few know, how Mosses realy died, saved Anthony from Chigargo did he make it home? Don Worren the drummer in Siegon, cusshy flat, thanks for the hospitality, the unscedualed R&R, had bigger fish to fry. So many ????

I served with the 3rd Bde, 82nd Airborne Division, Co A Spt Bn, May 68-May69. I was fortunate in that I arrived in Nam with a 11B10 MOS and the 82nd thought I would make a good finance clerk. I worked the finance offices at Bien Hoa and Phu Loi. Some of my most cherished memories are from my tour.

I was attached to HQ 2/33 Arty. 1st Inf. Div. in Lai Khe from 7/66 to 8/67. I was first in the Radar Section then in FDC (Fire Direction Control).
I went on all or most of the missions the Big Red One was involved in. Tulsa, Battle Creek, Attleboro, Cedar Falls, Niagara Falls, Birmingham, Junction City, Blue Field, Billings, Manhattan.

I was with the 630th 0rd. Co. Camp Humper, 184th Battallion in 70-71. Quinhon Vietnam. I worked at the ammo dump at night with Captain Brady and many other great people. I am so glad after 30 some odd years I still have a mind. I just can't get home for some reason.

My father served with the 4th Infantry Div. in Plieku from 69 to 71. His name was (okie) David Lee Whittenberg. He passed away from alcoholism October 25th 1994. If anyone is still alive that served with him , I would like to know more about him and his time there.
