This website is absolutely wonderful. Thank you for creating it. I was born in Saigon and left the United States with my parents in 1975 as a small child. I completed my undergraduate from the Johns Hopkins University. Today, I am a doctoral candidate working on my PhD. Although my family is Buddist, I became a Christian in college and now attend a great Bible-based church. Thank you so much for your sacrifice and for the lives of so many men who died in the Viet Nam War. Without you, I would not be here today. Thank you so much.

I served with NSA Deep Water Piers at Danang 68-69, and spent a few days and nights at Marble Mountain during which time I had the closest encounters with VC firing up at the mountaintop positions, and Marines returning fire. Beautiful place, even in those days.
