I served with The Americal Div, HHC 11 Light Infantary Brigade on Fire Base Bronco or LZ Bronco near Duc Pho from March 1970 to April 1971 with air recon
unit called Primo Avn. I was one of the crewchiefs, scout, mechs. I do not know what happened to all the scouts and pilots and I can not find anything about the unit I was in. I have photos, orders, etc. so I know I was there because I was wounded and spent 2 1/2 months in the hospital and went back to combat to serve my full tour. I know Primo Avn was not part of The 174 AHC, We did not have a Frist Sargent, but reported directly to TOC and CSM and The Brigade Commander, Col Barlow. I know our main mission was to look for the enemy
bring him out in the open and capture if at all possible. Dan Aiken,Us Army, Retired(DAC) ps: Primo if You are out there give me a call 541-376-8460 anytime.

I left Fort Campbell on Thanksgiving Day 1967 with the advance party of the 2nd & 3rd Brigades of the 101st Airborne Division. My unit was HQ & Co A, 326th Medical Bn. But I spent much of my time TDY. I was at Bien Hoa, Song Be, Phu Bia... I was known as "Xonk" after my name tag was sown on backwards.

I did voluntary work with the American Red Cross at 3rd Field Hospital Saigon in 1971. I was attached to the Australian Embassy at that time.
The volunteers had several photos taken by the American Red Cross - I would like to obtain a copy if possible. My name was Taylor then.
