During my first tour of duty I was stationed along the Perfume River in the City of Hue from 1968 to 1969. I was in the Navy an advisor with the Vietnamese Navy"s Junk Force. I was looking for a Vietnam Charity that I can donate to. The Vets With A Mission strikes me as a good charity to donate to.

I am looking for anyone who may have know my dad name Ditch Muoihet my mother used to called him, and I am not sure how to spelling it in English, but fews American Vets said that name could be Richard of Dick Muirhead. He was a Leader cook in Airforce Bien Hoa 1964-1965. I would love to hear from anyone that can help me to find my dad, because I have not seen him for 40 years. I have been searching for past couple of years, for help on my Agent Orange claim. I meet requirements as far as affects from AO, prostate cancer, skin, heart problems. VA has verified i flew in and out of Danang, off carrier in Yankee station, say no proof of boots on ground. The time i flew in and out, was on ground long enough for pick up of personel and cargo. I talked to several guys while there, but no memory of names. As a lot of us know, logs were not always kept on these short hops. The pilot, and co-pilot that i flew in with are no longer living to verify this for me. God rest in peace for them. VA says now, if i can get anyone to give Buddy Statement , that says they talked to me while in Danang, they could approve my claim. i am now almost homeless, struggling to survive on , what little SS i get now. But still fighting cancer, and fighting for my benefits from VA, which i have served my country, with honor. Any help, would be so grateful.
