I am trying to help my brother (Daniel Story) find some of his buddies. He left Fort Campbell, Kentucky and landed in Vietnam December 1, 1967. He served with the 3/187th company D 101st Airborne 4th platoon. He left Vietnam July 30, 1969. Dan has mentioned "1st brigade 101st 502 up north in the A Shau Valley", "Little Dickie", Sgt. Cecil Davis was his best friend and carried him out (unfortunately, Sgt. Davis did not make it). Please send any information you might have to me ([email protected]). Thanks!!!

Delta Company 3/12 Inf. 4th Inf. Div. May 3 69 - May 2 70.. Central Highlands LZ Peaches (chopper crash, and jumping out) LZ French Fort. Many more LZs, Chu Pa Mountains Cam. boarder. Sometimes I think about my tour with D Company, the field and digging in and building bunkers, moving out, only at the end of the day, digging in again. Then going into base camp to be company clerk, Dec 69. I do remember sitting on a bus and looking at the plane that would take our bus load out. Mostly I remember looking at that sad country from the air that day.
