Served with 184th Ord Bn, Cp Humper from Mar '70 to Feb '71. Looking for anyone during that timeframe (Garrabrandt, Syd Smith, Roland Garcia, Greg Davis, SSG Carrion, Harry Ellis, Dana Groves, Etc). Great bunch of guys, and a good unit A lot of time has passed--now war veterans are treated like heroes--we sure weren't. Lots of bad memories from airports during my 3 years.

We love this web site. Like ours, it offers a lot of information that veterans can use. Have you seen the new 2009 Presumptive List of service-connected conditions? If not, visit http://www.veteranpograms.com to learn what benefits veterans can get today.

I was in Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam from Jan. 1969 thru Sept. 1970 assigned to the 566th Transportation Company. Then home, Suffolk, Va. for thirty days and over to K-Town, Germany for a few months. Requested to go back to Vietnam, which was met with, "Pack Your Bags," Son! Back to Nam, assigned to the Transportation Section of the Combat Engineer Co. at Bao-Loc. There from about Jan. 1971 thru Jan. 1972. Had a good friend there, Sgt. Joe Verner. We shared a room in the "Hooch" and split a MamaSon. Actually, she shined our boots, washed our clothes and cleaned our room. "We Go PX Now, BigBoy?"
Would like to hear from anyone assigned to those places and especially during those times, and, "Joe," if you're out there somewhere, I'd love to hear from you!
"Welcome Home, Soldiers!"
