I believe this is the second time I've been on this site. Anyway served with A Co. 1st Engineer Bn in support of 1st Marines. I was in 3D Plt and served with 3/1 near Marble Mt. Later onto Dong Ha, Quang Tri, La Vang, Camp Evans , PhuBi, Hue City, Danang and home. Served with 2D Bridge twice before Vietnam and after. Go out in September of 69 as a Sergeant. I think about the guys who were with me in Vietnam Two didn't come back: L/Cpl Goodwin, and Cpl. Wheller . May they rest in peace.

I was a crewchief with the 156th AVN Co. (RR) in Can Tho from Oct. 1970 - Oct. 1971. My nickname was " Little Buddha". I would like to hear from my old pals, Jerry Don Stanley, "Red" Anderson, "Beek the Sneak" Mosley, Peter Huck, David Bishop, "Dirty Eddie" Brush, Richard "Buddha" Hardy or anyone else that was on our flightline. I was the one that had the big Arizona flag painted on the cowling of the "Ancient One", 855, the oldest Beaver in the 156th. This is a great website and I thank you.

I am looking to find any of my old buddies that served with me in Viet Nam with the 5/46 198 D co.on LZ Gator (Base) from March 68 to March 69.
I find as time goes on many of you are still on my mind and I hope you are well.
I would like to hear from you and wonder if you remember me.
I carried an M-60 and ran the weapons squad a short time before coming home. Andy and I carried "Bonnie and Clyde" (our M-60's) for D Co's weapons squad.
Do you have pictures to share?

My name is David Nichols, called "Nick" at the 566th Transportation Co. Spent about 18 months there with a 30 day leave for Christmas, that I got for "Extending" in country for six months. Drove a 5 ton most of the time, till getting back from leave, then given "hardstripes" and rode in a jeep.
There from Jan. '69 thru Sep. '70. The company area was on top of a Sandy Hill at the south end of the peninsula, just up from the four ships that provided "electricity" to the area. The Navy was up the hill just behind us. Occassionally, we could go up the steps to their place and eat.
Maybe you remember some of this?
Hope to hear from you.
