I served with Co. A 1/7th Cav May 67- May68.I am looking for anyone who served at this time. Also any students in need can e-mail me, i am writing a memior and have done a lot of research. I returned to Viet Nam and did vol teaching at the U of DuyTan in Da Nang for four months. I have sponsored a young lady from Da Nang to come to my home and I and my wife are sending her to college. She lives with us and we treat and love her as our own daughter. This has been a very rewarding expereince for my wife and I. She is a biology major and will go onto nursing school. If any veteran would like to do this, e-mail me and i could avise you on the process. God bless all veterans!!!

my search here is because i was recently found and thank GOD for it, by a man that not only was a friend of my dad's, but had been searching for him. i didn't, until now, what company he was with. and i hope it's the right one. my dad's name was HASKELL LOFTON PEARSON. he was in viet nam in 1968. from what i can see, he was in ft. gordon, ga. then went to viet nam. i could be wrong on the names. but if you know him or mr. bob barnes, please contact me. i would love to hear from you. and THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID AND STILL DO FOR ALL OF US. I WILL NEVER FORGET ALL YOUR SACRIFICES AND COURAGE, THANK YOU

US Navy HSL-32 and HSL-34 anti-submarine warfare helo crewman 1979-1989, US Army AH-1/AH-64 pilot 1989-2000.
Though I did not serve in Vietnam, I served with many who did. Their patriotism, valor and love of country (in spite of how many were treated by an ungrateful nation), was an example for me to emulate.
