I see many people seeking info about incidents that occurred to them in Vietnam..trying to get info for VA claims,,if their info is a scam,,the VA will catch it,,there are places to retrieve incidents, events and missions etc on the web,,but they cost money.
.too many times people waste everyone's time on these bogus claims that take up the time and money for those that are legit...I hope they aren't but I've run across a few that have. I contacted someone who claimed he was in my command unit in Vietnam seeking help., everything he said did not add up. Even the photos he had, appeared to be rigged. The events he said that took place in Khe Sanh did not add up..his dates were inconsistent with the actual dates. I stopped all contact with this person.
Lets keep it real for those who really deserve it.

Hi I'm here in Vietnam right now as a tourist and was able to visit several sites dedicated to making one understand the war that was ..here.. including the War Remnant Museum and the Cuchi tunnel.. I'm 41 yers old and barely a kid aware enough to know what was happening then during the vietnam war.. but let me tell you now, what I believe.. I believe that the war you served no matter how valiantly you served it seems to have a mistaken purpose "that only bully's can think off"" so sorry but I guess you were misled by your potititians then.

I appreiate the act of contritution that you are doing through this site for all the atrocities of war that was, not only by you americans but also by your enemies.

May peace reign for the longest of time in America as well as the whole world.

Amen?

Guys, I hold you all in the highest esteem. The media is still playing on the public's ignorance. I met a guy at university who believes the propoganda (he's 20), but there's so little (if anything) in the curriculum that deals honestly with this war that he may never be fully informed. I have done all I can, but I'm only one person. I'm trying though. The war was necessary and the only shame is on the media and the politicians for the shameful end. Well done, guys. I was not all that aware at the time, as Tet happened when I was 8, but I have done a lot of reading and speaking to vets and I think you were vilified for no good reason. Hold your heads high.
