I am looking for anyone who knew my Dad (Robert Lee Payne). He was with Company A 39th. Combat Engineers. His records reflect that he was In-Country from December 31st. 1966 to late June of 1967. He was wounded at that time and was a medical evac. to Camp Zama Japan. He was an assistant squad leader (E-5) at that time. I believe he was at or by Tuy Hoa, Duc Pho, and other locations in and around that area. After VietNam he was assigned to the 78th. Engineers @ Karlsruhe Germany. He was killed in an automobile accident on November 11th. 1967... Thanks ... David L. Payne
