Does anyone know John "Buffa" Ambrifi or Paul Vincent Grasso (KIA May 1968) from the 3rd BTN, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine division, India company. They were in Khe Sahn in May 1968. My uncle John is the only remaining survivor of his platton and I am looking for information on his service.
Thanks in advance,
And thank you to all that have served and are currently serving.

I served in Nam in 1969 and 1970. I was at Chu Lai
and ran a medical dispensary for most of that time.
I was with the 197 th and under the Americal insignia. I have been looking to locate anyone who was there at the same time and might be able to visit about our common experiences.

Hi to all Nam Vets,
Thank you for your service and sacrifices.Where ever you were in Nam and whatever your mission was, you did one hell of a job! America might not have appreciated you then but we are all starting to heal from all the hurt. For those of us that made the Ultimate Sacrifice, may God bless your soul and peace be to your families.
I served in the Marine Corps in the early 50's with "C" Co. Marine Corps Test Unit 1and participated in Operation Teapot. From there I shipped out and served with India and Hotel Companies, 3rd Bn, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division,Fleet Marine Force Pacific. Participated in Operation "Strongback" in the Pacific prior to returning back to the U.S. I left the Marine Corps in '58 and joined the Army. Got assigned to the 9th Infantry Division and later went into the Quartermaster Corp. I did Nam with the Army's 506th S&S Co from 70-71, returned to the states and did a four hitch as an Army Drill Sergeant. Retired in ''75. If you served in any of the units and/or if you remember me, please contact me.
God Bless

Well fellas I'm not a vet but my pop's was. I did'nt get to know him to well so I'm trying to find anyone who did. from what I have been told he was a door gunner on a huey, but that info is scetchy at best. In one of his journals he mentions a friend of his who didnt make it, by the name of "ANTHONY NOTO". If you were aquainted with p.f.c. NOTO or were friends of "p.f.c. WILLIAM HERBERT WICKERHAM"-U.S.M.C. please contact me so that I may learn a little something about where I come from. My father has scence past away due to agent-o exposure. peace be with him, and all others who died or suffered in the conflict.
GOD BLESS EVERY ONE OF YA

I was in the USAF and carried the 20MM Vulcan on my F4. (47TFS, Ubon, Thailand) I'm looking for the name of a similar gatling gun used by the Marines in Vietnam. I believe it was a local product and mounted on a APC or some such ground vehicle. Thanks.

Hey there,
My dad Jesus L Rios Jr was part of the 101st airborne unit B co 2/502. He was the "radioman" assigned with that unit and took part in the assault of hill 809. Does anyone have anymore info they can provide about that mission? It involved the rescue of 2 downed choppers.
