My brother William Castillo passed away on March 31,2014. He was a Vietnam veterans , and a hero he got the navy cross. He fought for this country, we will never forget you. Love sister Sara

I served in the US Navy 1962-66 and 1967-69,I served on the USS Boston CA-69,
!968-69, the nlast crusie to Vietnam(7 th Fleet) I was S-3 Division as ShipService
Men. My GQ station was a Sight Setter In 8 " Gun, it seams like we were always
at General Quarters,and alway Hotter than Hell. We did a lot of Fire support for them Groun Forces.Our Skipper received the Bronze Star, we received CAR,RVCG/w Palm.
It was atime I will never forget,great Shipmates,and a Great Ship. When I came home in 69,I got Married To Nanette Savage,we Have 4 Daughters, 2 Sons.We have 13 Grandchildren,and 11 Great-Grandchildren. I went to College for 3 yrs.And worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections,as a Prison Counselor,1975-2001. I am a Disable Vet.A life member of the DAV,VVA,VFW,American Legion,Tin Can Sailors,Crusier Sailors Association USN Memorial. Fair Winds to all.

I WAS A BATTERY RECORDR FOR HOW BATTERY 2/11 IN 1970-71. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM SOME OF THE GUYS AND GALS THAT WAS THERE AT THIS TIME.. HAVE NOT HAD ANY CONTACT SINCE I LEFT. I DONT EVEN REMEMBER THE NAMES. REFRESH ME.

I served at Marble Mountain Air Facility with H&MS-16 from June 2, 1969 to February 23, 1970. I applaud your work toward reconciliation between the United States and Vietnam, particularly regarding dioxin (agent orange) remediation.

OVER A YEAR AGO I PUT OUT THERE IF ANYBODY KNEW MY HUSBAND ROBERT N CLAYTON HE WAS IN 187TH CRUSADER AT TAY NIGH I HOPED SOME ONE WOULD REMEMBER HIM OR HAVE A PICTURE OF HIM HE LOST MOST BE FOR WE WERE TOGETHER SO I HOPE SOME ONE WOULD HAVE SOME THE FEW WE HAD WE LOST IN A FLOOD ......... HE PASSED IN 2011.I GO ON THE 187 WEB SIGHT BUT ONLY ONE PICTURE IN THE YEAR BOOK ....... MOST IS ABOUT THE EARLY GUYS GOD BLESS THEM HE WAS THERE 1969-70 SO IF SOME REMEMBERS HIM PLEASE LET ME KNOW HE IS GONE 2 AND HALF YEARS I MISS HIM DEARLY PEACE TO ALL BOTHERS IN HIS UNIT . I was in Vietnam from July 1968 until September 1969. I was with Area Company 44th Signal Bn Located in Long Binh. Would be great to hear from some of the guys I served with.

I was the FO for D-1-9, 3rd Marine Division, in the first half of 1967. Con Thien, Gio Lihn, Khe Sahn, and points inbetween. Dong Ha was our rear, where there was safety and hot chow, not to mention showers from 55-gallon drums. I have few good memories of Viet Nam.

Great news. I was in Delta Co. Ist Engrs, !st Inf 66-67 and read my company web page and heard from buddy Douglas Nelson. My advice is keep on ,keeping on and you will run across one of the old farts you remember as a slim young man we all was back in the day. GOD BLESS the VETERANS

I was stationed at Marble Mountain Airfield with F-Troop 8th CAV from July 1971 - July 1972. I was a Snake Crew Chief. Anyone that remembers me or was also there, I would enjoy hearing from you.

I was stationed in Hoi An, RVN from April 1969-May 1970. I was the Med Tech on the N-2 team. Our team was most likely your replacement. The guys from your team that stayed to train us were Ralph
and Thorny.

Returning to Hoi An is on my bucket list.
