I have read over this website. This is a great mission for who was in my country, Viet Nam. I was born in 1966, 9 years later I have a chance to live in a terrible society of communists. Wow so terrible, more terrible than the period of 1966 to 1972. I landed to US soil in 1994 with my father who served in the re-education camp for more than 6 years and 5 years later I graduated B.S at UC Berkeley. I do not know how to say about the past that was good or bad. I remembered the rockets flew over my head. It was scare, but after that it was a memory because there is few people saw them in reality. Wow. Thank you for all who served for freedom of my country.

I was reading new posts and I wanted to respond to one most of us that served as I've talked to a few think that we could have done more in vietnam I think we pulled out to soon and left alot of good people stranded and out of luck I personally am sorry for that I think of it alot I sometimes cry over that decision that was made I think of young children and older men and women what happened to them they deserved better I came home and I had a somewhat better life and I felt guilty alot

Friends with John McCoy, Leroy Peoples, Schwartz, Andy Bakken and Jack Ridder. Lt James Milton was our CO. Base camp was CuChi. I was there 17 months...part of 1968, all of '69 and part of '70.I was just a country boy that talked alot about alligators. I am sure there were many others.
