I served as a grunt with H2/3, when the 3rd herd shipped out I thought I would be going with them.Since I had less than 6 mo. in country I was sent TDY to Mass 3 MACG 13 Security PLt. Man, what a skate; when I was told the winger's get everything, they wer'nt kidding. 3 hots and a cot, cold beer, steaks, lobster tails, floor shows with round eyes from Australia, trips to China Beach, skivvy runs to exotic DaNang. I'll take being a remf anyday compared with humping the bush. Semper Fi ! Joe

August 31. 2005 My family and I are looking for anyone that may have served with SP4 Robert Earl Green from Waco, Texas. He went to Viet Nam in May of '67 and was KIA February 23, 1968. He was Crew Chief on a helicopter for the 170th Assualt Helicopter Co. stationed at Camp Holloway. We have made contact with two of the gentlemen he served with, but would like to know if there are any more out there that remember Robert. You were the ones he spent his last days with. We just want to embrace you and let you all know that we are so glad you survived. God Bless you all. Robert was my personal hero, but you are all heroes in my eyes. Welcome Home and Congratulations for a job well done!

I was a patient on Ward 5 of the 93rd EVAC, 28JUL70 to 13AUG70. I am searching for the nurses who took care of me during my hospitalization so that I can thank them.
The nurses who signed my records were Lt. M. ( believed to be Mary) Reynolds, Capt. R. ( possibly Rita) Spencer, Lt. V. Gardiner, Lt. M. Stralka, and a Lt. Malbins.
With all the patients these ladies dealt with, they probably will not remember me, but I feel they may remember my 'case'. I was the early onset rabies patient who lived.
Thank you for this chance to continue my search for these ladies.
