I recently found out that my Uncle, Mike Catagnus was photographed in the Life Magazine article (Oct. 27, 1967) that featured Mike Company, Third Battalion, Ninth Marines at Con Thien. The same article is on your site. I am looking for anyone who served with him or was there at the same time as he. Thank you my Brothers and Sisters who served and your legacy of Honor, Courage and Committment lives today in our Armed Forces. V/R Earl e-mail [email protected]

0311 with Delta Co. 1Bn/5th Marines from 22 April 67 to 8 May 68. Always remember our time in the Que Son Valley, what a place! Beautiful country, NVA didn't give us much time to enjoy it though! Always felt sorry for the kids.

Hello I was just surfing the web and came upon your site. I am the daughter of Vet that was killed in Vietnam in November 66. I never had the chance to meet him. So I try to find sites that can give me some information about Vietnam. My father's name was James W. Bruhn he was a chopper pilot. I guess the one thing that is ironic about my life is that my husband and I were unable to have children so we made our family through adoption of 2 children from Vietnam. I believe my father is proud of me for that. I now have a 6 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. Hanoi and Nha Trang are the provinces that they were from. We got to go to both areas to pick them up and the vietnamese people were happy that the children were going to the US they kept saying lucky baby when they heard that they were going to the US we NEVER heard anyone say anything negative about it at all. And I may be a little bias but I think I have two of the cutest kids in the world. I would also like to know about how to help the orphanages that you support. I am a teacher and my husband is an engineer.

Thanks Stacia

I just wanted to say, thank you veterans for all who have done. You are my hero's, my inspiration, my life. With out you this world would be so different you are important in so many ways. Thank you for putting your life on hold for me and the rest of the world. I appreciate it so much. I LOVE ALL OF YOU!! If it wasn't for you my life wouldn't be so wonderful today; I probably wouldn't get to experience all the things a teenager get's to experience. So thank you, you have made my life the way it is.

Found your website while researching Tet 1968. I was in Danang, with VMF(AW)-235, Marine F-8 Crusader's, from Feb. '67, to Apr. '68.
Enjoyed your site, and will email it to other's.
