i love this site i just came back from vietnam last december and was good and bad dont know if i wanted to go back i did not spend enough time. i served in country from march 68- 69 in quang tri providence. god bless all of us who served in vietnam during the war.freedom is not free. some gave all and i`m still here and i wonder why?

I served in Vietnam from Nov 66 to Nov 67 with the 41st Army Postal Unit, Xuan Loc Vietnam. Also during that time served with the 38th Base Post Office at Red Ball, and with the 38th BPO Area Postal Directory near Ton Son Nhut Air base. Would like to hear from others who may have served in these units during that period, especially Duane A Thornton, the 1st Lt who was the 41st APU Commander

I was there 3/5 cav 9th inf scout & then LRRP, they transferred me to 25th inf later.
I was there in nam Jan through Dec 1967. Glad to have made it home finally. Quite an experience in hell..Because that is what it was. We served but what good did finally achieve??

Hi, I served with 1st log command 147 Field Service at LZ Baldy, 1968 Oct. I was assigned with 11 ACR down South prior to Chu Lai and then to Baldy. In Country Nov. 19767 to 1968.

I was CO (Court Jester 6) of D 2/5th July/Aug 67,, spent a few months in 249th Gen. Hospital Japan returned to Uplift in Nov 67 and was the 2nd Brigade Assistant S-3,, call sign Lightening 3 Alpha.
Was at Uplift until we departed to North to LZ Jane and then the Khe Sahn area until Jun 68.

Served with HHB 108th Arty Group Dong Ha 1967-68. Looking for any information on people who were with the 108th at Dong Ha any year for purposes of adding them to our group. We willl be hosting our 2nd anniversary reunion in September 2011 in Minnesota. All are welcome.

Co.A 125th sig bn. 25th Inf. Served in Cuchi Vietnam July1969 to July 1970. Would like to hear from anyone that was in my unit during that time frame. Have talked to Don Skinner, Joe Corso, Jim Golden,John Argiro and some others. Have time to play around on computer now that i have retired.

I was with the 563rd trans co.from june69 to june 70.I remember Glen Dye,Pirnie,Andy Anderson.I think his first name is really Mike.Also David Steiner,Lowell Bates ,Rowdy,Rottella,Cannon,Sgt. Arentz,just to name a few.Would like to hear from anyone from the 563rd.

I was stationed at Cam Rahn Bay in Aug 1971 when the ammo dump exploded. I stayed on herky hill (C130).

I was with the 2nd Maint. Bn Vung Taug from 1968 to 1969, worked in the class 9
repair parts. And made meany trips out side Vung Taug to different base camps.

I am looking for people that served from Dec 1969 through Nov 1970. I served under Sgt. Nelson in Platoon A. I was in the Americal division and worked with the 175 8" Howitzer guns. My vietnam name was "Bear". I was 25 miles from Chu Lai and about 30 miles south of Denang. Some Vietnam names I remember are "Gramps", The walking vegetable", and "The Tennessee Twins".

I was there when the 175 gun exploded on the compound killing one and wounding over 25.

I would really like to hear from anyone.

Feb. 1967 through Feb 1968. Any one who remembers me please contact me. I lost all
of my papers with names and addresses with any names or photos due being stolen luggage at the air port when I came home.
