I was part of flight deck crew on the USS Bennington Tonkin Gulf June -August 68. My brother was there also aboard the USS America. I had the chance to fly over (Helo) to see him a couple of times. Each time i did, we landed in Da Nang to refuel or pick up passenger. Spent time on boots ground both times, talked to several brothers staioned there, but my memory leaves me with no names. At this time needed buddy statement from a brother that may remember me? I was ADJ3 USN...always wore a Texas flag on my hat, or vest. Va has approved my PTSD, but not my Agent Orange. I have had, prostrate, skin & bladder cancer. neith side of my family history has had none of these illnesses. I pray that one of my brothers in arms, can help me, and remember my time in DaNang. My Blessings to all of us that has returned.
