I arrived in VN and left on 6/7 after driving a track over a very large IED. I was with Recon 4th of 23rd, Cu Chi. I made a few buddies but the fog of time has erased their names. Anybody familiar with the unit that was camped next to Ann Margaret in the wire, talk to me. God bless your getting back. Bob

Hi,
Im looking for anybody that knew my father. His name is James Robert Tate. He also went by Jim Tate. I have no idea of what his rank or anything like that was and Iam trying to figure that out. He was born in Pennsylvania and then moved to Georgia after he left Vietnam. I also dont know what years he served. I really hope someone can help me out. I am his daughter. He passed away November 19, 2007. He never told me anything about his rank or anything and I would really like to find out what his rank and everything was andim not sure on how to do that so i came here to post this. Please if anybody knows anything about my fathers time in Vietnam please contact me by email [email protected].
Thanks,
Tyler Tate

Nguy Hiem. He was an Armor Weapons Repair Specialist. He has passed away from Cholangiocarcinoma or bile duct cancer, which is associated with parasites in Vietnam. This is a very rare cancer in the U.S., but very prevelant in Asia and Vietnam. I want to let all vets be aware if they are having any stomach issues to check for this cancer. It is hard to detect. I also would like to find anyone that knew my husband. Please contact me at the email address. Thank you.

I served in Vietnam from Jan 26th 1966 - Feb 5th 1967 in the Tan Son Nhut area. It was called "Tent City B" I started out with 1st Logistics Cmd and changed to USARV. I was transfered to "Camp Redball" about July and finally Saigon on Cong Li Street. It was an 8 story hotel rented by the US Gov as a base camp. I would be interested in pics of Tent City B or buds that were there 😀 Thx peace out brothers.
