Served with HHC 20th Engineer Brigade at Bien Hoa, Sept 67 - Sept 68, then transferred to 525 MI Battalion, CDEC, until May 70. Want to thank all the guys at the 20th personnel office who kept me sane. At my age I can't always recall your names, but your faces are still clear to me. Danny, Rocky, Ken, Brizindine,Stone, Huff, & Tolson all gave a sense of family to our hooches. Hope you've survived and thrived. If you were like me, you went years before you found out that you had PTSD, because no one at the VA wanted to talk about it. After years of paying for private therapy, finding out there was a cause for my depression, panic attacks, and alcohol abuse was the start of understanding and control of my life.

My Dad (Eugene Lepore) served in Vietnam from 1971-72 and I was wondering if anyone would have any information on what divisions and such of the U.S. Army were active at that time or if any veterans here may have graduated with him? He graduated from Fort Dix on April 16, 1971. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you too all our Vietnam veterans! I salute you!

I was stationed at Bien Hoa Vietnam from Feb. 4 1967 until Sept. 4 1968. I served in the third civil engineering squadron of the seventh Air force. I was a Sgt. in the electric shop and later in kitchen maintanence. I just found out that we earned the outstanding unit award with a v and a presidential unit citation that was not on my DD214 when I got out. I hope all you guys that I served with are doing well. And all the vets pasted and present may God bless you.

I was in the Da Nang arra with the USMC 3 rd 8 inch howitzer battery 1968 , in the sandy area to the west of the city . We went on MEDCAPS , medical civil action patrols to small villages to the west . I would like to keep my promises to give the people there , now their grandchildren , photographs that I took then. This will not be for another year in order for me to plan and prepare . Thank you for any suggestions on this . Of course it would be more meaningful for me to do this in person but if I mailed your organization hard copies or e- mailed them to you would you try to distribute them in the appropriate area ?
