was with 101st Nam 1969, Camp Eagle, HHB Div Arty, main duty was in TOC; also went on mission with 2 other US and BN of ARVN Rangers to be Arty support persons for search for NVA BN (choppered in to meet couple of SF guys who took us to meet with the ARVN Ranger unit, then the SF guys went on their way);.......also sent back again in 1972 as Operations and Intell Advisor with MACV Team 68 in Binh
Minh District..was in a CPT slot there (I was SSG), main MACV unit for that District was in Vinh Long Province (got to spend about 3 days there once on a rest period and stayed at Province Headquarters building, an old French thing, that had a kitchen (and a cook), a club on the roof of the building and individual rooms (guess it was an old hotel or something like that)...ETS in Nov 1974 after spending 8 years on Active Duty........spent duty time at Ft Hood (loved it there..rode motorcycle), Ft Gordon, 13 months in Korea (during the time the NKA tried to kill the President of South Korea) served with the 2D Inf Div there, north of the Imjin...
GOD Bless all ya'll (hey...I'm southern) and after all these years the bottom line applies to some of it...."don't mean 'nutin"

I'm searching for anyone who was in B CO, 1ST BN, 18TH INF, 1ST INF DIV and knew Jackie Ralph Seltzer. Jackie was a very good friend who I went to school with in Hamburg, PA.
Jackie was KIA on May 12, 1968 and I was hoping someone could tell me about that day. I was in Vietnam when he was KIA but did not know of his death until I got home to Hamburg, PA in Oct. 1968. I was in the USN Seabees in Quang Ngai attached to MACV Advisory Team 2.
Thank You and God Bless.
