I was in the 145th Avi Bat. at Ton Sun Knut In 1964-1965. I was a truck and tank mechanic. I was on what was called a pathfinder team, and usually gave the signal, to tell the lead chopper, where to set down, on a mission to bring in or remove troops from an area. I also worked on tanker trucks at landing fields all over South Vietnam.

Great Site - I enjoyed it ver much and am planning to join you on one to your upcoming trips back to Vietnam. We all lost friends and comrades for a mission still misunderstood, but what is not in question is the heroism of those that fell. We will never forget.
