I was with the 11th Cav. for the first part of my tour in Nam (70-71), then was sent north to E co. 50th Inf. Div. We pulled security at Deep Water Pier and the PX compound.
We had an area that every one hung out in when off duty. The people in charge thought that it was possible that some partying might be going on there.
Can't imagine why they would think that, couldn't have been the fact that the words, "LET IT BE", were spray painted on the wall in large black letters. But I digress.
The question I have is, can I wear the 50th Inf. on my shirt sleeve?
It was a lifetime ago, WELCOME HOME !
