I am an adopted child, born Sept. 6, 1967. Was born in Madison, WI, and adopted through a Lutheran Agency in Milwaukee, WI. Although I was given no identifying info. all paperwork suggests that my birth father, who was 19 years old at the time, went to Vietnam either just before, or shortly after I was born. I don't have a name, or branch of service, I only know he was approx. 6' tall, had dark hair, and played in a band. Possibly sang as well. His hometown was more than likely either Milwaukee or Madison, WI. I'm sure this sounds like a crazy request, but if anyone knew of a soldier or sailor from Wisc., or sailor that possibly went through Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Fall '67, left for bootcamp or was incountry in the fall of '67- Jan.'68, and had recently become a father in Sept. '67, please, please, please contact me.

I'm going out on a limb, I know, but have been searching for years and have come up empty. I figure that one of these days I'll get lucky. I was married to someone in the USAF, am divorced now, but have been in a very long term relationship with someone else in the USAF. Have used every outlet at my disposal through USAF as well as Army, to no avail. If anyone has ANY info that might be helpful, please email me.

I have been in the military circles my entire adult life - I am the former wife of a Desert Storm Vet and the current girlfriend of an Iraqi War Vet, and I truly mean it when I say that I Thank God every day, for all of you, and the sacrifices you've made.

I got in country in May 70 at Dong Tam fro a few months, then was sent to solid anchor/nam can around July 70. I'm looking for Mark Fontaine or any other HM that was there at that time. There was no Doc. there at the time and I really need some help in verifacation of some wounds I reiceived. Of course the VA can't find my records, but I have been in touch with other Vets on different sites. Some have been very very helpful in my quest for info. Hope some one out there can be of assistance for me.I've gone through a PTSD program in Iowa.I can hardly remember what happened yesterday, let alone 34 yrs. ago. Now they are talking about sending me to Topeka Tramma center in Kansas.I'm really a mess they say.I know that there others out there that don't even know they have a problem, so I sent a letter to congressman Tom Latham of Iowa to try and get the message out to the public for some awarenees for other VETS.
Thanks in advance to any one who may be of some help, welcome home BROS.
