I found this site whilst looking into Canadian involvement in the Vietnam war - the stuff I found was an eye-opener. I did not serve there but have served in Iraq briefly in 2003. When I came back I got involved with a service charity here in UK called Combat Stress and ran the USMC marathon for them last year. Good site, useful gen, happy to donate to this very good cause.

I was in a place called Phu Lam during the TET offenses, a couple of miles from Saigon, I remember us getting hit with mortar rounds twice, it was in the first two weeks of February 1968, I try to keep in close with my buddies whom was there at that time, I remember a guy name Willie Scofield, I have called him up a few times and we would talk about the old times in viet nam, and about TET, it is a time that I will never forget.
