I was in a place called Phu Lam during the TET offenses, a couple of miles from Saigon, I remember us getting hit with mortar rounds twice, it was in the first two weeks of February 1968, I try to keep in close with my buddies whom was there at that time, I remember a guy name Willie Scofield, I have called him up a few times and we would talk about the old times in viet nam, and about TET, it is a time that I will never forget.

Nobody asked my opinion, my husband was in the Army National Guard-in Vietnam 6 years, my brother dropped out of planes in North Vietnam and went to Guam. My pride is with you and in you, all, who faught in that war. I never felt like those scoffers. Thank you from my heart for doing what you knew to be the right thing. May we never forget the job you did and the hell you endured and take it lightly.
