Served with the Air Force at Phu Cat Airbase (15 miles inland from Qui Nhon) in 68-69. I was a air traffic controller. Our aircraft (call sign Icon) went toward Laos and Cambodia mostly. Radar flight followed many aircraft going feet wet up and down the coast. Fondly remember the C-121's (super Connies) who orbited feet wet for hours to broadcast Vietnamese TV.

In country 1972. DCAT 60 in Sa Dec and HQ MACCORDS in Saigon. Still have the briefing we gave VIPs during the NVA invasion. I have heard that there are missions going back to help the people. I would be interested in Saigon/Delta area work. Currently, elementary school teacher and certified in K-5, and History, 6-12.
