I was with USN "Market Time" effort based out of Cam Ranh from 9/1968 through 8/1970. Spent some time at Duc Pho and LZ Liz in the spring of 1970.
Recently returned from my first visit to PRVN. It is a good time to go back and see that things are changing in the direction they are. It has been a long time coming, but perhaps we have won their hearts and souls after all.

I was stationed at the 91st Evacuation Hospital in Chu Lai January 1971 to November 1971. I was part of the Admissions and Dispositions staff, spending most of my time in and around the ER handling administrative duties concerning KIAs, WIAs and all sorts of injured. We had to talk to and gather info from the wounded, process the dead (body bag, call units, safe-keep personal property, etc). It was a hard time for me, but certainly not as hard as what the guys who had their lives on the line every day had to go through.
